Baking can connect us to fond memories of our childhood. Freshly baked treats we enjoyed from our mother's and grandmother's kitchen will always bring back good memories of love and being connected. I love to bake gluten-free because most bakeries get it wrong. Flavour and texture is so important, and with a little science at play, I totally bring back the tender crumb and moistness to your favorite bakes.
When you face the demands of daily living, sitting back with a treat that's simply amazing and made especially with you in mind to enjoy is what I love to do.

Cake and Flours is a small home-style patisserie that is all about giving you fresh and delicious gluten-free baked goods that will satisfy your cravings for indulgent bakes. Overly sweet baked goods just don't cut it, and when calories and money are involved, you definitely want something spectacular that's totally worth it. A freshly made bake can transport you to another place of sunshine and comfort when you need it most.

You won't find elaborate sugar flowers or decorative cake designs here — and that's entirely intentional. My craft lives in delicious flavour, not presentation. Every bite speaks for itself. Please note that any personal writing, toppers or decorations are to be sourced yourself.

Dairy and nuts are a natural part of my baking — they're integral to the flavours and textures I love creating. While some treats don't contain nuts, I'm unable to guarantee a nut or dairy free kitchen.
